IF YOU SERVED IN ANY OF OUR ARMED FORCES AND HAVE A PICTURE YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING IN TO ADD TO OUR GROWING WALL OF HEROES, PLEASE BRING WITH YOU TO THE CEREMONY.

ALSO, WE WILL BE DOING A ROLL CALL FOR THOSE SERVICE MEMBERS WE HAVE LOST IN THE PAST FEW YEARS.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A RESIDENT SERVICE MEMBER ADDED TO OUR ROLL CALL, PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE TO GIVE NAME, RANK AND BRANCH.

A DCA inspection in New Jersey is a mandatory safety check conducted by the Department of Community Affairs’ Bureau of Housing Inspection. These inspections occur periodically, typically every five years, to ensure buildings meet state health, safety, and fire standards.

• Purpose: To verify proper maintenance and compliance with the Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law, protecting residents’ safety.
• What is Inspected: Inspectors check safety features, including working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, self-closing doors, fire exits, and functional windows.

The DCA will be at Crestwood Village Four May 26 – 28, June 2 – 4, June 9 – 11 to inspect Duplexes, Quads and 6-8 Plexes for:

• What is Inspected: Inspectors check safety features, including working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, self-closing doors, fire exits, and functional windows.

Attached is the list of residences being inspected and the dates.   You will need to give access to the inspectors on the date of inspection.  The list encompasses ALL units of the address.  Master List for DCA inspections

To prepare, Maintenance will be coming around ahead of the inspections to check Smoke/Co Alarms.  Any questions or concerns, please call the office.

Please be advised that the Maintenance Department will visit all homes to check the smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

This mandatory  inspection ensure safety compliance ahead of the upcoming Department of Community Affairs (DCA) state inspection.

Please ensure clear access to all alarm units in your home.
